Dr Catherine Lüps Deplaine

SMA-CERTIFIED IN ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA SURGERY

During her residency at the Geneva University Hospitals between 1986 and 1993, Dr Catherine Lüps Deplaine was given increasing levels of responsibility, rising from Associate Physician to Assistant Chief Resident and then Chief Resident of the Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Unit. In private practice since 1993, she is among a number of specialists in the Clinique La Colline network, through which she has been collaborating with the Assal Center for Foot Care and Surgery since 2015.

Description

Education

After completing her medical studies at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in 1983, Catherine Lèps Deplaine pursued her specialty in general orthopaedic surgery at the Neuchâtel Hospital and then at the HUG in 1986. She became SMA-certified (FMH) in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 1996. Passionate about continuing education, Catherine Lüps Deplaine became a medical examiner and a sports medicine physician in 2005.
