Dr. Lisca Drittenbass and PD Dr. Mathieu Assal saw her again in January 2024, two years after successfully operating on her, and she is doing much better.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a successful surgery, she was unfortunately not admitted to school, as her disability was still visible. What a disappointment\u2026 Since amputation of the non-functional foot\u2014intended for fitting a prosthesis\u2014was not an option for the family, Endolite India Limited found the perfect solution for her case. They designed a prosthesis that spared her from amputation and allowed her to walk normally with it.<\/p>\n<p>We can see her first steps in these photos. Thank you to ISHWAR (International Society for Human Welfare &amp; Rehabilitation) and everyone who contributed to her recovery.
