Christian Riesen, our nurse specialized in wound care and healing, shared his knowledge with the members of the Swiss Society of Podiatry during a full day in Lausanne.
He presented how to assess patients with chronic wounds, determine the type of wound and relative healing process, as well as the challenges encountered during treatment. Wounds in diabetic patients were also discussed. Many other topics were covered during this training.
