Improving Postoperative Management of Hallux Valgus
At the Global Podiatry Summit 2026 in Copenhagen, the ASSAL Center presented its latest clinical study on a custom 3D-printed orthosis for the postoperative management of hallux valgus.
The study is led by Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière, with contributions from Dr. Antoine Acker.
The work was presented by Dr. Filippo Pierobon and Alexandre Saconney-Pfister (CEO of Aligna3D), the company developing the device.
The initial results are promising and confirm the potential of this approach.
