Congratulations to Dr. Elisabeth Schauer, fellow at the ASSAL Centre, who has been awarded a grant of CHF 10,000 by the SFAS Swiss Foot and Ankle Society for a project she developed with the Centre's research team.
This study aims to quantify the physical activity observed in patients during the postoperative period following hallux valgus correction. Patient behavior after surgery and its relationship with the clinical outcomes will be analyzed over a one-year period.
We would like to thank the SFAS for its support of medical research in the field of foot and ankle.
