Centre ASSAL at the SFAS Swiss Foot and Ankle Society Symposium
Our team was honored to receive two new research grants at the SFAS Symposium:
- A biomechanical study on the role of the peroneus longus tendon in midfoot stability.
- A prospective study on the use of a 3D-printed dressing after hallux valgus surgery, in collaboration with Alexandre Saconney-Pfister.
Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière also shared his expertise on the management of complications in minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Antoine Acker presented the latest developments of PressMap, a project focused on forefoot pressure measurement, developed with Quentin Praz and Spyridon Schoinas, and supported by an SFAS research grant in 2024.
We are proud to count Dr. Lisca Drittenbass, MD, President of the SFAS, among our team members, and we extend our sincere thanks to her – and to the organizing committee – for their commitment to innovation in foot and ankle surgery.
