PD Dr Mathieu Assal had the pleasure of sharing his experience as a volunteer orthopedic surgeon alongside Dr Didier-David Malis, a maxillofacial surgeon, with an audience of 170 attendees, during a special session dedicated to humanitarian engagement with Mercy Ships.
Through their testimony, they spoke about daily life aboard a hospital ship and the tangible impact of these surgical missions in Africa. A strong human and medical commitment that they wish to continue supporting.
