Formation

Diplômé de l’Université de Genève, institution où il sera également reçu docteur en médecine en 2014, le Dr Victor Dubois-Ferrière a effectué l’essentiel de sa carrière au sein des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, notamment comme médecin adjoint du Service de chirurgie orthopédique et traumatologie de l’appareil moteur où il a collaboré avec les Prs D. Hannouche et P. Hoffmeyer. En 2014, il effectue une année de fellowship au Canada, à l’Université McGill à Montréal, pour se perfectionner dans le domaine de la chirurgie du pied et de la cheville. Une expérience qui lui permettra entre autres de développer des techniques arthroscopiques et prothétiques. Il prend en 2015 la tête de l’équipe de chirurgie du pied et de la cheville des HUG. Enseignant, conférencier, auteur de plus de 40 publications scientifiques, le Dr Victor Dubois-Ferrière mène actuellement plusieurs projets de recherche dans le domaine de la chirurgie mini-invasive.
