Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière specializes in foot and ankle surgery. He has spent most of his career at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), mainly as an assistant doctor and head of the foot and ankle surgery team within the Orthopedic Surgery and Motor Traumatology Department. He did a year of expertise (fellowship) at the prestigious University of McGill, in Canada. Dr Dubois-Ferrière joined the Centre ASSAL for Foot Care and Surgery as an Associate Doctor on January 1, 2021.

Education

Graduate student from the University of Geneva where he will also be awarded a PhD in medicine in 2014, Victor Dubois-Ferrière has spent most of his career at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), mainly as assistant doctor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the motor apparatus where he collaborated with the Prs D. Hannouche and P. Hoffmeyer. In 2014, he completes a year of fellowship in Canada, at McGill University in Montreal, to perfect his skills in the field of foot and ankle surgery. This experience will allow him to develop, among other things, arthroscopic and prosthetic techniques. In 2015, he takes over as head of the foot and ankle surgery team at the HUG. Teacher, lecturer, author of 37 scientific publications, Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière is currently leading several research projects in the field of minimally invasive surgery.
