V. How do we use web analysis technologies?

We use so-called web analysis and/or tracking technologies in order to constantly improve our online offer. Depending on the providers of the web analysis tool, their servers may be located abroad. Please also see "Disclosure of your data” below

We mainly use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To deactivate Google Analytics, Google provides a browser plug-in at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text data stored on your computer, which allow for the analysis of your use of websites, see above. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to a server of Google Inc. in the USA and stored there (including your IP address).

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services related to website and Internet use. Google may pass this information on to third parties, when required by law or insofar as this data is processed by third parties on Google’s behalf. Google will under no circumstances combine your IP address with other data from Google and will only transmit it to us in an anonymous form.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by specifically changing the settings of your browser software, but we would like to point out that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the features of this website.

Google complies with the provisions of the "Privacy Shield" agreement and is registered with the United States Department of Commerce's "Privacy Shield" program, and uses the information collected to evaluate and report on the use of our website and to provide us with other related services. You can find out more at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en. By using this website, you consent to the processing by Google of data concerning you in the manner described above and for the purpose mentioned above.

VI. Social media

a. We use the LinkedIn social network to share our work and our news. Each social network has its own guidelines governing the processing of your personal data when you visit its pages.

If you have any doubts or questions about the use of your personal data, you should carefully read the data protection policies for these services before using them.

b. Plug-ins from various providers such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ are included on our web pages. The plug-ins are identified by the logo of the provider in question and can be presented as Like, Google+ or Twitter buttons (as an example, you’ll find an overview of the Facebook plug-ins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/).

When you visit our web pages, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the social network provider. The corresponding provider receives the information that you have visited our website, along with your IP address. We draw your attention to the fact that we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of its use by the respective providers. The purpose and scope of the collection and further processing of your data by the provider as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the providers’ data protection information.

VII. Disclosure of your data

By using this website and its services, the user hereby declares that they accept that their data are sent to other group companies and processed by them. This communication may take place not only to achieve the stated objective, but also for the presentation of the group accounts, the drafting of reports, the optimization of IT performance and marketing purposes. In this context, Centre ASSAL SA ensures compliance with the principles of the Swiss data protection law or an equivalent level of protection abroad. Whether the user's data is recorded and/or processed by Centre ASSAL SA itself or by other companies belonging to the group, their employees are only authorized to view or process the data in as far as this is necessary to carry out their tasks within the group company involved.

We may also forward your personal data to third parties in order to use the technical or organizational services we need to achieve the stated purposes or our other business activities. Our service providers are bound by contract to process the personal data exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions. We also require our service providers to comply with technical and organizational measures guaranteeing the protection of the personal data. If the service providers are located in countries in which the applicable laws do not provide for a level of personal data protection comparable to Swiss law, we will contractually ensure that the service providers involved comply with the Swiss levels of data protection.

We may also disclose your personal data if we are obliged or believe it necessary to do so to comply with applicable laws and regulations, with regard to legal proceedings, at the request of the courts and the relevant authorities or because of other legal requirements in order to protect and defend our rights or our property.

VIII. How long will my data be stored?

All stored personal data will be deleted immediately and permanently as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, when the user contract is terminated or when you request it, unless Centre ASSAL SA is obliged by law to retain it. However, aggregated or anonymous data which does not make it possible to identify the user may also be used for internal purposes.

IX. How do we protect your data?

We have introduced various technical and organizational measures to ensure that the data protection provisions are complied with both by us and by the external service providers who work for us.

In the case of the unencrypted transmission of data over an open network (for example when you send messages or other information to us), the data may be read, modified or destroyed by unauthorized third parties. Any transmission of data from or to the website is therefore undertaken at the user's own risk.

X. What are my rights?

You have the right to request information at any time on any stored personal data that concerns you. Additionally, at any time you can ask the body involved to rectify, transfer, partially or completely delete and block individual personal data, provided that there is no legal retention obligation. You also have the right to appeal to the relevant data protection supervisory authority under certain conditions. You may also exercise your right to object to data processing at any time, without giving any reasons for this.

Your consent to the provision of information and advertising via the newsletter or your subscription to other services can be revoked at any time in the corresponding newsletter or via other registration pages or by writing to the following e-mail address: contact@centre-assal.ch.
