The Centre ASSAL performs all surgical procedures using the clinical and surgical facilities of the Hirslanden Clinique La Colline. The clinic has six operating rooms, all of which meet the highest standards in technology and patient comfort. The operating rooms were built very recently and are among the most modern in Europe.
On the day of admission, you will be greeted at the Hirslanden Clinique La Colline reception desk. A member of the medical staff will escort you to your room and will support you every step of the way, before and after the surgery.
Hirslanden Clinique La Colline will do everything in its power to provide you with high-quality personalized care and to ensure that the surgery is carried out under aseptic conditions, including preparation and disinfection, transfer to operating suite, installation in anesthesia room, transfer and installation in the operating room, transfer and monitoring in the recovery room, and return to your hospital room. Except in unusual circumstances, the anesthesiologist that you met prior to surgery will remain with you during the surgery. Dr. Assal and his team will visit you in your room on the evening of your procedure.
Dr. Mathieu Assal personally operates on all Centre ASSAL patients, with the assistance of Dr Lisca Drittenbass. In certain situations, which will be described to you beforehand, we will suggest that the procedure be carried out by Dr Drittenbass, with your agreement or at your request. Dr Drittenbass has been trained to perform the same procedures as Dr. Assal and they have been working together closely since 2013.
