Foot fracture

While the foot can withstand many high-energy impacts, injuries are common and can sometimes lead to fractures of the toescentral foot bones (metatarsals) or midfoot tarsal bones (cuboidnavicularthree cuneiform bones). Foot fractures can cause significant discomfort and hinder mobility. They often affect athletes and people who apply pressure or force to their feet. They can also result from repetitive loading.
