New publication of a scientific book chapter ''Achilles Tendon Ruptures: Limited Incision Repair''

We would like to congratulate Dr. Elisabeth Schauer and PD Dr. Mathieu Assal on the publication of a chapter in "Techniques in foot and ankle surgery".
The various minimally invasive techniques for suturing the Achilles tendon following acute rupture are discussed. Minimally invasive techniques are preferred to open procedures, as they reduce the risk of complications such as scar dehiscence and infection.

The research and publication of scientific content are pillars of the Centre ASSAL and demonstrate the great commitment of the center and its doctors in this field.
